FARNESE THEATER

NATIONAL GALLERY
The tour of the Pilotta monumental complex begins in the exhibition spaces dedicated to the works of Antelami and art in Parma in 1300-1400 and continues in the Parma Room at the time of the Farnese with the Farnese collection, in the Sala del Trionfo, in the Halls of Tuscan painting and central Italy 1200-1500, of the Venetian one 1200-1500, and of the Emilian one 1200-1500, in the Sala dell’Arte in Lombardia 1400-1500, of the Flemish, in the Sale Arte in Parma 1500-1600, of the Emiliani 1500-1600 (under construction), of the Caravaggeschi in Emilia (under construction), of the Painting of the Spanish Empire, of the Art in Lombardy and Central Italy 1600-1700, of the Sacred Art in Emilia, and of the Genoese 1600-1700, of the Still Life, of Boselli, of the Grand Tour, of the Venetian Painting 1600-1700, of the Condottieri and battles, in the Farnese Catwalk with the Ducal Portraiture, and in the nineteenth-century Salons where other works belonging to the Ducal Portraiture, to the great mythological cycles, the Colossi of the Palatine, the winning paintings of the Academy’s competitions are exhibited; the section of the Rocchetta with the path “The nineteenth century in Parma” and “The myth of Correggio”.

MUSICAL SECTION of the PALATINE LIBRARY
NATIONAL ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
It is possible to visit the new wing of the Archaeological Museum: the “Ceramics Room” dominated by a majestic coffered ceiling concealed from view in the 1950s by a huge concrete floor and now meticulously restored, and the Egyptian Rooms, created in imitation of the pharaohs’ underground tombs by transforming areas previously used as offices into museum spaces.
Visits to the new wing of the Archaeological Museum will be for groups consisting of a maximum of 30 visitors on an hourly basis at 10:30-11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., with reservations required at the ticket office.
BODONI MUSEUM
The Bodonian Museum is open to the public with the same opening hours as the Pilotta Monumental Complex, Tuesday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (last admission at the ticket office at 5:45 p.m.).
For visitors who intend to enter the Bodonian Museum alone, the ticket is €4, while for those who intend to visit both the Complesso della Pilotta and the Bodonian Museum there will be the possibility of combining the ticket to the Complesso della Pilotta (€12 full, €10 reduced groups and €2 for the 18-25 age group) with an integrated ticket of €2.
All categories that enjoy the entry concessions in state cultural venues provided by the regulations and available at: https://www.cultura.gov.it/agevolazioni are entitled to free admission to the spaces of the Bodonian Museum.
