Starting on Sunday May, 4th 2025, following an agreement between the Monumental Complex of the Pilotta, the Municipality of Langhirano, SMTP (Society for Mobility and Public Transport) and Tep (Public Transport Parma), bus services connecting Parma with Langhirano, where the Torrechiara Castle is located, will be intensified on public holidays.
In particular, two morning runs will be added to the usual timetables on route 2670 Langhirano – Torrechiara – Corcagnano – Parma (10.00 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.) and Parma – Corcagnano – Torrechiara – Langhirano (10.35 a.m. and 12.05 p.m.).
The aim of the operation is to facilitate tourists’ access to the Torrechiara Castle through the use of public transport also on Sunday mornings, integrating the site more and more into the Pilotta circuit, favouring the enhancement of the Castle and its context, as well as improving the tourist offer for visitors and the welcome opportunities for tourist and cultural operators in the area.
