The chamber music festival Musica in Pilotta, produced by the Filarmonica Toscanini with the contribution of the Emilia Chamber of Commerce, continues, with groups formed under the Toscanini Foundatio drawing from the vast chamber music repertoire from the Baroque to the 20th century for a surprising variety of programs.
The proposed program is a journey through the musical and cultural evolution of Latin music and tango, from both traditional and modern perspectives. Each piece offers a distinct atmosphere, alternating between energy, lyricism and virtuosity, with a continuous dialogue between the guitar and accordion that highlights the timbral peculiarities of both instruments. This concert is an opportunity to explore the richness of Latin American sounds through the music of Argentine, Cuban and Mexican composers.
During these Sunday morning events, music is called to dialogue with the artworks in the National Gallery and with documents, prints, and books kept by the Palatine Library.
