On the occasion of National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day, state museums and archaeological parks will be open free of charge.

The event

On Monday 4 November, on the occasion of National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day, state museums and archaeological parks will be open free of charge.
The locations of the Pilotta Monumental Complex are participating in the initiative, guaranteeing free access to the public according to the following times:

Monumental complex of the Pilotta: from 10.30 am to 7.00 pm
(last admission and last ticket issue at 18.00)

Antica Spezieria di San Giovanni Evangelista: from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm
(NB Reservations required for 30-minute time slots and maximum capacity of 15 visitors. Reservations at the Palazzo della Pilotta).

Torrechiara Castle: 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
(last admission and last ticket issue at 2.30 pm).

Archaeological Area of Roman Veleia: from 11.00 to 6.30 pm
(last entry and last ticket issue at 6.00 pm).

Information

For security reasons, in case of large influx, access to the Pilotta Monumental Complex may be suspended for a few minutes.

It will still be necessary to collect the free ticket before entry and leave bulky bags, backpacks and umbrellas at the ticket office.
Reservation is not necessary.

It will still be necessary to collect the free entrance ticket at the ticket office of the Monumental Complex of the Pilotta, according to the available time slots.

For the first Sunday of the month, online purchase is not possible but it is possible to obtain the free ticket directly at the ticket office of the Pilotta Monumental Complex even in the previous days.
