The event

October is the month of prevention and, also this year, Italian Museums are committed to spreading the message in support of prevention and the fight against breast cancer, proposing themselves as points of reference in this important health campaign, encouraging active participation and awareness of citizens.

The Ministry of Culture, alongside Komen Italia to raise awareness on the topic of prevention and women’s health, in order to continue the initiative already started during the winter of 2023-2024, is proposing again the campaign of lighting museums and cultural sites with the color pink for the entire month of prevention, that is, from 1 to 31 October 2024.

The Pilotta Complex has joined the initiative by planning to light the Cortile del Guazzatoio in pink on October 19, 2024.

Due to adverse weather conditions , the extraordinary opening of the Cortile del Guazzatoio, the Paciaudi Hall, the Bodoni Museum and the Cortile della Cavallerizza, scheduled for 19 October, has been postponed to Friday 1 November 2024.
