The press conference will be an opportunity to present the series of informative meetings entitled “ Philo-Diffusione ”, proposed for the year 2024/2025 by the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Enterprises of the University of Parma, in collaboration with the Palatine Library.
The series of five afternoon meetings aimed at citizens on topics of contemporary philosophy and history of philosophy will be held between November and May in the Sala Maria Luigia of the Palatina Library, hosting eminent scholars, known nationally and internationally for their high profile research.
The choice of guests and topics aims to arouse the interest of a wide audience, in the hope that the discussion can have a strong value not only of study but also of reflection and interpretation of the present.
The collaboration with the Palatine Library will allow us to combine the discussion of philosophical themes with the viewing of precious manuscripts and texts from the library’s book heritage, which will be exhibited during the meetings.
