Kind users are advised that from June 15 to September 15, 2023, admission tickets to state museums and places of culture will cost one euro more. Revenues derived from the temporary increase will be entirely used to cope with the emergency in the areas affected by the flooding events, which were severely tried by landslides, water seepage and flooding that also damaged cultural heritage – including museums – for which the Council of Ministers declared a state of emergency.
As outlined in the measures contained in Article 14 of Decree Law No. 61 of June 1, 2023, approved by the government, in particular, the proceeds of this important initiative will be used to secure and restore cultural assets that were affected by the flood, with interventions for the protection and reconstruction of public and private heritage.
The increase also includes the reduced ticket for 18- to 25-year-olds, which will increase from 2 to 3 euros.
Free admission remains for the categories stipulated in Decree No. 507 of December 11, 1997.
Please note that the rates of admission tickets that can be purchased at the ticket office of the Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta for access to the tour route will be as follows:
Full € 13.00;
Reduced groups € 11.00 (maximum 30 people plus the external licensed guide);
Reduced from 18 to 25 years old € 3.00;
Free for those under 18 years of age.
