Sentences – Signs of light for a contemporary regeneration is a permanent work by Maurizio Nannucci in the courtyard of the Pilotta, in Parma, a historic complex that houses the National Gallery, the Farnese Theater, the Archaeological Museum, the Palatina Library and the Bodoni Museum.
Nannucci, one of the protagonists of Italian art in recent decades, has created a 190-meter-long light installation, which extends along the four sides of the courtyard, with 55 neon letters in Murano glass illuminated in blue light: Sentences. Time, past, present and future.
The work is the winner of the fourth edition of the Italian Council.
